KEEP GOOD EQUIPMENT GOING.Replacement parts. A fresh start.

How to find your full equipment model number

Start with the full code on the equipment identification label. A short name printed on the console can describe a range of machines with different replacement parts.

Find the identification label

Check the frame, base or area near the power connection using your equipment manual. Label locations vary by manufacturer and model. Photograph the whole label so letters, punctuation and revision suffixes remain readable.

Keep model and serial numbers separate

Record the complete model exactly as shown, then record the serial number in another field. Some parts change during a production run, so a model match may also require a serial-number-range check.

Record the component details

Keep photographs of the complete component, its markings, connectors and mounting points. A number on the machine may identify the equipment; a number on a part may identify that component. Neither should be silently substituted for the other.

Use the records to compare a replacement

Search the full model with the part name, then compare the listing with the applicable parts diagram or manufacturer documentation. A near match or a shared brand does not prove fitment. If the records disagree or information is missing, confirm the required replacement before ordering.
