Choosing your replacement

Separate cycle pedals from foot platforms

The catalog includes bike pedals as well as elliptical and stepper foot platforms. These attach to different mechanisms. A familiar pedal shape does not make a bike pedal suitable for an elliptical arm, or a platform suitable for another machine.

Keep side and mounting details

For cycle pedals, use the specified spindle thread and left or right designation. Do not force a pedal into a crank based on apparent size. For foot platforms and straps, compare the mounting points, attachment arrangement and exact equipment application.

Check quantity and retained parts

A pedal, a pair of pedals, a strap and a foot insert are different purchase scopes. Read each listing before assuming both sides or retaining straps are included. A pedal arm is not included merely because the title names the pedal location.

Product selection questions

Do exercise bike pedals use one universal thread?

Do not assume a universal spindle specification. Confirm the thread and side required by the bike and replacement listing.

Is the displayed price always for a pair?

No. Check whether the individual listing supplies a single side, a pair, straps or another assembly. The category does not imply a quantity.

Can I choose straps only by their appearance?

Compare the strap attachment and adjustment arrangement with the pedal. Similar-looking straps can attach differently; use the specified replacement.
