Choosing your replacement

A cord and an adapter do different jobs

A power cord connects a supply to equipment; an external adapter also provides a specified output. Do not substitute one for the other based on a search term. Use the machine documentation and the required replacement description.

For adapters, check the electrical label

Compare the required input and output, AC or DC designation, connector and polarity where applicable. A matching connector alone is insufficient. Follow the equipment manufacturer's requirements rather than choosing by appearance or a convenient plug.

For cords, keep connection and rating together

Check the equipment-end connection, supply plug and required rating. Selling destinations and mains standards must be confirmed separately; this collection does not imply that every cord suits every country or machine.

Product selection questions

Can I use any adapter whose plug fits?

No. Output type, voltage, current requirements, polarity and connector must meet the equipment specification. A fitting plug alone does not establish a suitable power supply.

Does a power cord change the supply voltage?

A plain cord does not provide the conversion performed by an adapter. Identify the required component from your equipment documentation.

Where are internal power boards and circuit breakers?

Browse power supplies and electrical parts for separately identified internal components. A mains cord, controller and internal power component are different purchase tasks.
